Dr. Margaret Buxton is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Vice President of Clinical Operation at Diana Health. She has strong clinical experience and leadership in midwifery education, team building, and management. A passionate advocate for evidence-based, high-value maternity care, she is on a mission to help extend the range of birth options and provide a caring environment conducive to a safe, empowered birth.

Previously, Margaret served as the clinical director of Baby+Co Nashville from its launch in 2015 through 2021. Margaret is a graduate of the Vanderbilt Nurse-Midwifery Program and has a doctorate in nursing from the University of Alabama.

Prior to her time at Baby+Co, Margaret’s experience included both full scope midwifery care, practice leadership, and nurse-midwifery education, including the University of Washington, Seattle and Vanderbilt University.

When she’s not working, Margaret loves great food, travel, and spending time with her four children.
